Poverty Simulation
Almost 30% of Bay Area residents are unable to meet their housing costs and put food on the table for their families.
Join us to learn first hand what it is like to live in poverty in Silicon Valley.
The Poverty Simulation is more than just role play. It is a hands-on experience that will open your hearts to the struggles low income and homeless people face everyday in our own community.
This event is free and open to the community. RSVPs are required. Children ages 12+ are invited to attend with adult supervision.
The Poverty Simulation is presented as a partnership between West Valley Community Services and the following community partners:
Bethel Lutheran Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Los Gatos Clergy Group, Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino, Westhope Presbyterian Church and other faith communities in Cupertino, Los Gatos and Saratoga.
