Memorial Day Ceremony to Honor the Fallen at Flame of Liberty Memorial in Los Gatos
America:  Their Sacrifice, Our Freedom

The Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation in collaboration with Open Doors to Future Possibilities invites the community to attend a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25, at the Flame of Liberty Memorial, located on the Los Gatos Civic Center lawn, 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos.

The event will honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to the nation. Complimentary lunches will be provided to veterans with valid ID beginning at 12:00 p.m. and available for sale to the public. The formal ceremony will follow at 1:00 p.m.

The keynote speaker will be General Kent Hillhouse, a highly decorated U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran who has served as President of the Foundation since 2014.  Also at the podium are Congressman Sam Liccardo, Town of Los Gatos Mayor Rob Moore, Open Doors to Future Possibilities Dr. Simone Lundquist.

“Memorial Day is a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude,” said Ellen Manzo, Board Member of The Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation. “We invite the community to come together to honor the fallen and support the families who carry their legacy forward.”
